Inspired by true events, West Lincoln is the story of a young man growing up in the neighborhood of Diamond Hill-Jarvis within the city of Fort Worth. A young, charismatic 17 year old, popular among his classmates and admired by his teachers, fell victim to gang violence. This story made headlines in 1978 and created an uproar between the rival communities of Northside and Diamond Hill-Jarvis. The violence escalated in the two communities and throughout the city, especially in the Northside community, where the shooter was from. Although West Lincoln is a fictional community, the setting for West Lincoln is Fort Worth, 1995. Trailers and more info at www.westlincolnmovie.com
